EECA is a government agency whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use.
Warmer Kiwi Homes is our new four-year programme offering grants for insulation and heating to low-income homeowners. We want to build and maintain relationships with community organisations to obtain additional third party funding for the programme to make the cost to homeowners as low as possible.
This role will target new organisations to secure additional third party funding for the programme. There will also be the need to develop and maintain funding sources for homeowners through voluntary targeted rates schemes of councils and any other viable sources.
It will also work with organisations to provide a pipeline of eligible homeowner referrals to service providers.
We're looking for someone with strong stakeholder engagement abilities, business development experience and a track record of success in their career.
To succeed in this role you will need to have commercial acumen, an ability to identify leads and opportunities to secure agreements and a collaborative style.
Extensive experience in relationship and key account management across a portfolio of organisations will be important. You will be a team player driven by success with excellent communication skills.
