Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization :
To ensure positive development of adidas brand image and sustainable and profitable business through a diverse Sports Marketing portfolio of individual athletes, clubs and associations supporting brand and category objectives.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage the day to day operations of the NZ Sports Marketing team (1.5 reports)
Plan and manage the sports marketing strategy for the NZ market.
Build and maintain a diverse asset portfolio supporting key categories and business objectives.
Manage contract negotiations in line with budget guidelines and market evaluations.
Ensure all Sports Marketing contract negotiations and operations comply with the global Sports Marketing Policy.
Manage the integration of local assets into key brand initiatives.
Develop and execute leveraging plans for Sports Market assets to maximise their brand impact.
Drive a cross-category leveraging approach to the sports marketing portfolio.
Provide industry leading service to our asset portfolio on a day to day basis
Manage the local Sports Marketing budget
Maintain necessary contact with key industry personnel to achieve the objectives of the group.
Manage the overarching NZR partnership from a local market perspective.
Manage the servicing of all teams and athletes that fall within the NZR agreement.
Work closely with the global teams on NZR partnership requirements including but not limited to product development, servicing and delivery, team leveraging, athlete product testing and athlete leveraging.
Work closely with global on the NZR Scale of Issue and budget management and reporting
Develops a reputation in the sports industry as the brand that provides the best products & services, and builds a healthy relationship.
Ensure teams and individuals wear and represent the products according to our Marketing Plan to communicate adidas as the leading performance brand.

NZR, athlete management groups, sports Clubs and associations
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :
Strong negotiation skills
Strategic Marketing Management experience with strong interpersonal, influencing skills
Relevant Sports Marketing experience
Demonstrated people and operational management skills in breeding a high-performance culture.
Proven methodological skills (e.g. Business planning, strategic development).
High degree of commercial and business acumen knowledge related to sports marketing.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications :
University Degree, preferably in Sports Marketing
At least 5 years Sports Marketing experience
