About the roles
We are looking for an outstanding Speech Language Therapist (SLT) (or more than one) with leadership capability to take on the Clinical Lead and / or Professional Leader roles at Auckland DHB.
These are genuinely outstanding and challenging Allied Health clinical leadership opportunities within the NZ health sector.

Clinical Lead role (0.5 FTE or up to 0.9 FTE for the Clinical Lead role only) will provide both clinical and operational leadership to the adult inpatient Speech-language Therapy service.
In this role you will work closely with your team of 11.2 FTE SLTs to cover all adult inpatient services at Auckland City Hospital.
This is an excellent opportunity to develop your operational and leadership skills whilst also holding a clinical role. Reporting to the Service Clinical Director, Allied Health services, this is a highly collaborative role that is well supported by the Director, the Clinical Lead team, and the Professional Leader.
You will be a valued member of the Allied Health leadership team and encouraged and supported to develop your potential, including your leadership and management skills.
You will have opportunities to provide leadership within the SLT service and across the wider Allied Health Service.
