Key Responsibilities · Maintain and administer computer network· Provide desktop hardware and software support· Manage allocation of desktop hardware (PC, MAC) ensuring staff have appropriate IT equipment such as monitors, keyboards, cabling, etc· Perform data backups and disaster recovery operation· Management and maintenance of complex customer environments· Assist with server, system and infrastructure deployments· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, servers, computer or other network and system problems· Plan, coordinate, and implement network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware· Communicate effectively at appropriate levels to customers and internal staff regarding technical descriptions, issues or related tasks· Configure, monitor, and maintain email applications or virus protection software· Operate master consoles to monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and to coordinate computer network access and use· Test computer hardware, networking software and operating system software· Monitor network performance· Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high level of performance, availability, and security.

  • Any other duties as required· Documentation of support solutionsAbout You · Strong customer service focus and ability to remain composed under pressure· Proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Window· Previous experience in troubleshooting, configuring of IT networks or similar framework.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a self-managing, team environment· Excellent time management skills· The ability to adapt, be flexible and learn quickly· Problem solving skills and ability to think algorithmically· Excellent knowledge of data backup, recovery, security, integrity and SQL· An IT / Networking qualification, a Diploma or higher level is required.
