The Mission Management Operations team (MMO) in the GCSB’s Intelligence Directorate has a unique opportunity for an Analyst who is keen to work at the heart of intelligence collection.
As part of a team of analysts you will take the lead on intelligence access initiatives. This will involve you working closely with other teams in the Intelligence Directorate to translate intelligence requirements into collection requirements.
You will then work to task the relevant teams and ensure that suitable access solutions are put in place. You will also support the tasking of new accesses as they are developed into mature capability.
In order to effectively perform in your role you will proactively maintain an up-to-date understanding of our capabilities.

You will have well-developed oral communication skills to communicate effectively with staff across all levels within the GCSB and the wider intelligence community.
You will have excellent organisational skills in order to maintain accurate records, be self-motivated and adept at problem-solving both independently and in a team environment.
You will be flexible and responsive to business requirements which can involve domestic travel sometimes at short notice.

Salary from $49,465 - $74,197 per annum

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold NZ Permanent Residence or hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken.
