  • healthAlliance is one of New Zealand’s largest shared services providers. We support the four Northern Region District Health Boards (DHB’s) with technology shared services.

    What you can expect

    You will be p roviding efficient, comprehensive and confidential administrative support to our busy Chief Financial Officer and his team.

    Due to the fast-paced nature of this role, you must have the ability to juggle a high workload and multiple activities. In addition, you will be a team player who can interact with a diverse group of people, be confident in your approach and able to work autonomously.

    The key responsibilities include :

  • Diary and email management & minute taking
  • Preparation of presentations and documents where required
  • Being the primary point of contact for staff and external stakeholders
  • Providing support to the wider management team as required
  • What we need from you :

    We are looking for a seasoned EA who is flexible, adaptable and has the ability to stay calm under pressure. Along with clearly demonstrating excellent customer service skills, this challenging position would suit a candidate with excellent communication and organisational skills, a positive attitude and the ability to maintain high standards with an eye for detail.

    We also need you to be proactive and take initiative.

  • At least 7+ years’ experience as an Executive Assistant.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Diligent Boards experience is not essential but preferred.
  • Must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.

    This requirement results from healthAlliance being a provider of services to the health sector, meaning that many of our staff interact closely with staff from (and at) DHBS.

    Further, in the event of incidents and emergencies, our Connect building must be available for DHB staff to use as a backup site.

    As a result, all of our staff are required to be vaccinated against COVID 19 under the COVID-19 Public Health Response (Vaccinations) Order 2021.
