What will you do?

  • You will lead and drive successes on new business development as well as establishing strategic business expansion plans for assigned markets as agreed in the strategic focus for New Zealand;
  • You will focus strongly on developing and improving business relationships with key customers. Not only to help grow top line revenue, but also to ensure high quality standards and aligned business development to our customers in New Zealand;
  • You will be responsible and accountable for gross margin development and achievement for the business division to achieve and grow annual sales targets by canvassing new business pipelines, conversion and to support existing corporate account management, in line with the business strategy;
  • You will work as part of the sales team to enhance performance through collaboration, teamwork, sharing information and job enrichment to meet and exceed department KPI targets;
  • You will ensure maintenance of our actual database / CRM (SalesForce), including quotations, prospective and actual sales, visit summaries, but also competition rates , is kept up to date;
  • What do we expect from you?

  • You are a results oriented professional with a nose for optimizing profitability, by cross selling or upselling, discovering new market opportunities and are not afraid of creating them yourself;
  • You have good knowledge of supply chain & logistics, freight forwarding and shipping processes;
  • You have excellent networking skills and ability to build collaborative partnerships with diverse groups of clients and colleagues;
  • You are a go-getter with strategic thinking and passion on growing the business;
