The opportunity : Within AsureQuality we have a registered Private Training Establishment (PTE) delivering NZQA recognised training programmes.
Our Learning & Academy team design, develop and deliver training that supports our customers specialist learning needs. In addition the team designs, develops and delivers training for AQ employees.
In this senior management position, you will lead our Learning and Academy team, made up of innovative learning design specialists and industry trainers.
Your key focus will be to assist in the growth and Development of role specific technical learning and the Academy business by expanding current services to deliver technical skills and capability.
You will be accountable for owning the relationship and technical training performance for assigned customers and ensuring their needs are met by working with our Customer Solutions, Marketing and our Service Delivery areas.
You will also ensure our PTE status is maintained and we continue to develop key training industry relationships.About you : To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary degree and 3 + years senior management experience leading within a diverse service oriented business, along with experience in Training / Learning and development.
You will have experience working in or leading a Private Training Establishment (PTE), with exposure to maintaining NZQA approved programmes or training schemes and developing and aligning new training programmes to NZQA Unit Standards.
You will also have : Training industry experience (NZQA, ITO etc.)Commercial acumen and proven ability to grow a business functionPeople leadership experienceExperience developing and building industry relationshipsProgressive thinking and a strategic viewA drive for achieving goals and delivering excellenceYou will be joining a dynamic and engaging team.
