As the ERP Finance Lead, you will enjoy being involved in business transformation and change where you can capitalise on your previous ERP implementation experience.
At Pan Pac we're implementing a new ERP system - SAP S / 4 Hana. The project is a key strategic initiative for the company and will improve business processes, replace aging systems, promote efficiency, and improve reporting.
Pan Pac has an overall "get fit" strategy and the ERP plays an important role in helping to achieve this by improving overall efficiency.
The project will involve changes to sales, finance, supply chain, procurement, asset maintenance and reporting systems. This role is vital in ensuring the success of the Finance workstream of the project.
As the ERP Finance Lead you'll be responsible for the overall design scope and testing of the finance function for the ERP implementation programme.
This role requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several moving project parts simultaneously.
You'll be involved in the design, co-ordination, and completion of the finance tasks within the functional workstreams and the activities to keep abreast of the interdependencies across the workstreams.
Working with other project leads and team members you'll provide regular reporting on progress status and meet the project objectives.
You'll be an experienced Senior level Finance professional with a relevant tertiary qualification and / or CA qualification (or equivalent).
With a demonstrated passion for either Project Accounting or managing / supporting projects from a Finance perspective, you'll thrive on juggling multiple priorities.
It's important that you have had experience with ERP projects. You will bring previous ERP project experience and have significant experience within complex accounting functions with at least 5-10 years exposure in working with large finance systems and procurement system functionality.
This will be underpinned by your practical approach to problem solving, ability to build strong relationships and exceptional communication skills to lead people to a common goal.
Your ability to balance day to day requirements with future focussed activities by taking a systematic and detailed approach to your work will be another key strength.
