    Occupational Therapy New Zealand Whakaora Ngangahau Aoteroa (OTNZ-WNA) is looking to employ a Whakarite Matua Senior (Senior Administrator).

    The Whakarite Matua Senior supports the membership of OTNZ-WNA through excellent administrative processes and office management.

    The role is the first point of contact for our members and central to our operations, working closely with all levels of the organisation (including external contractors).

    The core responsibilities of this role are to support the management and admisinstration of the office and the financial operating systems, in order to strengthen the provision of services to our members.

    OTNZ-WNA is a membership-based body for occupational therapists whose purpose is to support members in excelling professionally and to promote occupation by providing resources, education and representation.

    We are a Te Tiriti Relationship Governance organisation that embraces Te Tiriti responsiveness in its practices and Kaupapa.

    To be successful in this role

  • You have demonstrated experience in office management
  • You bring a forward planning mindset and ability to juggle multiple workstreams at any one time
  • You have an awareness of, and ideally competency in, te ao Māori environments, coupled with a recognition of the implications of Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • You are a collaborative team member, with the ability to think creatively and proactively
  • You have excellent communication, relationship management, and interpersonal skills
  • You are digitally savvy including advanced practical knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Google Suite, and Xero
