Foxglove, Wellington’s iconic waterfront destination is on the hunt for an incredible Function Sales Coordinator!

With multiple dynamic spaces, sumptuous food, cocktails, whisky, wine and a stunning outlook over Wellington Harbour, Foxglove is at the top of every birthday, wedding, special occasion and conferencing events wish list.

The demand for functions is through our beautiful vaulted roof, so this new role requires a highly organised and engaging Coordinator who’s verbal and written communication is prompt, personable, professional and exudes panache!

The Function Sales Coordinator’s role is to fill Foxglove’s function and events calendar year round. Your eye for detail and organisational skill will ensure every customer's journey from start to finish is effortless.

The ideal candidate for this role will :

  • Have a minimum of 1 years experience in Sales Coordination of Functions and Events and a minimum of 1 years experience in Managing Functions and Events
  • Create and develop ongoing relationships with regular clients and suppliers
  • Highly organised and computer literate in bookings, email and project management systems.
  • Be an excellent communicator, and have an outstanding phone manner
  • A genuine passion for Hospitality, Functions and Events
  • Love welcoming guests into the business
  • Have exceptional presentation
  • Be customer focused whilst delivering on key business objectives
  • Foxglove’s Functions team is growing, so this role will play a key part in its development.

    The Function Sales Coordinator will work alongside the Function Operations Manager and Venue Manager to ensure Foxglove continues to show just how fabulous any event can be!
