    You will be working at Compass Group's National Support Office based in Ellerslie, Auckland. You will be work alongside many talented professionals from a variety of professions supporting our operational teams across New Zealand.

    About the role and who we are looking for :

    We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Accounts Manager , to join our Finance team to cover parental leave from October 2021 to May 2022.

    Reporting directly to the Financial Controller and supporting the CFO, this is a key business leadership position that is responsible for managing the accounts payable and receivable teams including timely reporting & process improvement to create efficiencies.

    With advanced experience in accounting and the usual accounting qualifications and skills, you will be leading the accounting team not just on day to day operations but being innovative to create those efficiencies.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for :

  • Manage the team for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Maintain OM billing platform and lead further roll out activities.
  • Review and provide continuous improvement of the accounts receivable and accounts payable process.
  • Improving systems and addressing any weakness in internal controls, systems, policies and procedures
  • Ideal skills and experience you will have :

    As the successful candidate, you will have experience in accounting & reconciliation with experience managing ERP systems such as OM billing, Oracle and Converga.

    Your previous experience as a senior leader within a multisite B2B or B2C environment and strong people leadership skills will lead to managing a large team in a complex & dynamic work environment.

    Further, you will hold an accounting degree with the ability to prioritize and use your advanced Microsoft Excel skills to create magic with the numbers!
