3-month fixed term contractKōrero mō te tūranga - About the Role We have an exciting opportunity within New Zealand Food Safety for a Contracts Adviser who will be responsible for the development and setup of the contract management framework necessary to ensure that the team are monitoring the contracts effectively.

This role will also be responsible to ensure that we are meeting the MPI procurements and contract processes and expectations in relation to contract management.

The key objectives for the successful applicant to achieve within the three months are :

  • Develop a framework for the Chemical and Microbiological Assurance team to track and monitor performance of all the teams' contracts.
  • Be responsible for updating and maintaining the contracts tracking and reporting mechanisms to ensure accurate information is available to the Chemical and Microbiological Assurance team.
  • Develop the administration processes associated with developing the contracts and associated variations.
  • Provide procurement and contract related monitoring and administrative support to the team when required to ensure efficient running of the team's processes.
