leading provider of Employment Relations and Human Resource Consulting Services, supporting clients in all industry sectors throughout New Zealand, as well as representing many Australian based businesses.

We act exclusively for the Employer and also hold the Employment Relations Consulting licence for the Employers and Manufacturers Association (EMA) within the Waikato Region.

At Russell Drake Consulting we understand that no two businesses or situations are the same. We pride ourselves in offering our clients a bespoke service that is tailored to the needs of their business, and the situation in hand, whilst ensuring they remain legally compliant.

Due to the continued growth of our business, we are now looking for new team members who are not only experienced in employment relations, but who can combine their technical understanding and knowledge of employment law (written and case law) with the same care and understanding we provide to our clients.

Along with consulting opportunities, for the right person, there would be the opportunity to step into a Consulting Manager role in the future which would be responsible for managing our client workflow and communication, our in-house human resource and employee well-being, as well as managing and reviewing business systems and processes.

The ideal candidate for this varied role will enjoy working within a small, relaxed, collaborative team environment and be someone who is organised but has the ability to adapt to any given situation.

  • To be considered for a role within our team, we’re also looking for the following professional experience;
  • A tertiary qualification in human resources or employment law
  • Considerable HR and or ER experience
  • Experience in providing representation in mediation and the Employment Relations Authority
  • Experience and understanding of businesses processes
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work to strict timeframes
  • An interest in research, understanding information and applying it to a variety of situations
  • Ability to work within a close team
  • A strong customer service focus.
