  • OCG have partnered with one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions. Their customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

    We're looking for a new Customer Services Team Leader to manage a team of three, based in Christchurch.

    Reporting to the Southern Sales Manager, this critical role requires strong leadership skills and experience managing a complex Customer Service team.

    Preference will be given to candidates who have worked within a large, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

    Some of the key responsibilities of the role :

  • Leading a busy team of 3 employees
  • Managing clients from initial enquiry, through quotation & ordering stage, and onto delivery of product, driving solutions to meet their needs
  • Managing stock levels of finished goods for key customers
  • Working closely with the production, planning and distribution teams to meet our customers supply needs
  • Monthly reporting
  • About you :

  • At least 3 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced manufacturing environmentHighly organised and efficient, with the capability to multi task
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to use your own initiative and think on your feet, fast
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Calm, methodical and pragmatic, with a measured approach to problem solving
  • Strong computer skills
