An opportunity has arisen for a Student Support Advisor to join this hard working, fun team. The role is based at our West Auckland campuses - New Lynn and Avondale.

We're looking for a positive, energetic and smart team player to support and motivate students, providing them with a unique and exciting journey at NZSEG.

About the role

  • Providing pastoral care students to ensure they feel supported and excited about their studies
  • Helping to plan graduations, events and leadership development programmes
  • Providing a high level of customer service to internal and external customers
  • Offering practical support and advice to students
  • Skills and experience

  • Previous student support experience is essential
  • Leadership qualities
  • Ability to speak Te Reo Maori or a Pacific language is preferred
  • Full NZ drivers licence and own vehicle
  • Ability to prioritize, accept responsibility and use initiative when required
  • Ability to perform effectively under busy conditions and meet deadlines
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Culturally aware and sensitive
  • Willingness to learn and a desire to gain new skills
