The Oracle GlobalBusiness Unit (GBU) Cloud Reliability Services (CRS) team provides ResourceAdministration, Operations Support, Centralized Logging and Monitoring to GBUApplications Teams to support high margin, highly elastic, and highly availableSoftware as a Service (SaaS) applications using the Oracle Cloud Infrastructure(OCI).

This CRS team is responsible for the development and operation of highlyavailable and scalable services necessary to satisfy the needs of our OracleGlobal Business Unit (GBU) partners.

We are seeking a Resource Administration software architect todesign Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Tenancy Administration, NetworkPerimeter and Inventory services used by GBU Platform and Application teams toonboard into the Global Business Unit’s OCI environments.

We will leverage industry standardtechnologies, to be identified & evaluated, by the qualified software architect,to deliver fully automated Tenancy Administration, Network Perimeter andInventory services to our internal partners.

Our development environment will use tools such as Python, RESTful API,Docker, Kubernetes and more, in a DevOps, CI / CD, agile development environment.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Design, develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for databases, applications, tools, networks etc. As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures.

Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications.

You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products / services / processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology.

Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products / services / processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area.

8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.
