Harvey Norman Head Office has a rare opportunity for a Product Coordinator to join the buying team of our Bedding department.

  • In this role you will :

  • Support the Product Managers with the functions of the buying team, including data entry, price changes, reporting, management of samples, and communications to stores.
  • Assist other managers within the department with ad hoc administrative duties, as required.
  • Liaise with suppliers to collect product detail, images and promotional material.
  • Updating of point of sale material, poster requirements and provide general advertising support.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, with the ability to quickly learn new software programmes. Experience working with SAP would be an advantage.
  • The skills and experience you'll need to bring with you include :

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to build professional relationships with suppliers and people at all levels of our business.
  • Excellent organisation skills, with the ability to manage multiple daily tasks and ongoing projects in a fast paced environment.
  • Demonstrated conceptual, analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think on your feet.
  • Fast, accurate data entry skills and strong attention to detail.
  • A passion for home interiors and awareness of design trends is a must. Experience in the furniture or homewares industry would be advantageous.
