Help shape the conversation on New Zealand's biggest news website.

The Stuff newsroom is looking for Community content producers to engage and grow our unique Stuff Nation and comment platforms.

Your primary responsibility will be to attract audiences of value and build public trust in our business.

Day to day your tasks will include :

  • Commissioning user-generated content via Stuff Nation
  • Sub-editing copy
  • Pitching ideas
  • Growing membership
  • Moderating Stuff's comments section
  • The right candidate will combine specialist editing skills with digital savvy and journalistic nous : You'll bring :

  • Hawk-eyed sub-editing skills
  • Sound editorial judgement, including an understanding of media law
  • Experience as a reporter or editor
  • Digital media knowledge
  • An interest in community engagement
