The Principal Advisor Contracts and Planning will oversee supplier engagement, supply chain management and contract management for the team, working closely across Council business units, with focus on :
This role will also lead a team of two advisors, and will be responsible for establishing a resilient, agile and engaged team culture.
You will have depth of technical expertise in contract management and planning, and strong experience developing and maintaining high-performing teams.
Excellent communication skills, along with proven problem-solving and analytic skills, are a must. Strong experience with contract modelling is also highly desirable.
Ideally you'll also bring a local or central government procurement background.
