Kia mahi ngātahi mō Pōneke mō tōna āpōpō : Working together for Wellington's future.
Here in Wellington we're well aware of some of the possible disruptions that could affect our way of life.
Wellington City Council's Resilience Office exists to prepare Wellingtonians to respond to and recover from major disruptions.
We're looking for a Business Continuity and Emergency Management Advisor to help prepare and maintain Business Continuity Plans (BCPs) and provide support to the wider Emergency Management / Resilience team.
You'll be involved with reviewing BCPs and carrying out impact analyses across the Council, developing tactical plans to respond to disruptions, and delivering BCP training and exercises for our business units.
We're looking for someone who has strong facilitation skills and the ability to confidently advise senior leaders.
You'll have experience in developing, testing and reviewing BCPs, and a good overview of Business Continuity principles.
You'll also be someone who is motivated to grow their skills in the role, and won't be afraid to put their hand up to help the wider team when needed.
If you'd like to find out more about the role, please see our position description or contact Hannah Brackley (hannah.brackley wcc.govt.nz).
If you'd like to help Wellington City Council strengthen its readiness for disruption, then we'd like to hear from you.
Applications close 24 June 2021 and must be submitted online.
