Our Insights and Data Science chapter members are experts in exploiting analytics, data science, research, and design led thinking to enable data informed decisions through experimentation and ultimately balancing business needs and customer problems.

About the Role :

As a research and analytics or data science chapter member you will be responsible for undertaking activities aligned to the mission of a squad, using your analytical skills to identify and support opportunities that positively impact customer and shopper experience to deliver increased satisfaction and incremental growth.

You will be providing analytics and insights that enhances our business decision making, by putting stakeholder understanding at the centre of everything we do.

You will leverage one of the richest customer and sales data sets in New Zealand to create compelling, impactful and actionable recommendations.

You will be responsible for the development and execution of research, analytics, or data science programs to support key strategic initiatives, empowering the business to make customer centric decisions through the democratisation of insight.

About You :

You are passionate about translating business needs and customer problems into analytical and research solutions. We will rely on your ability to collate and analyse data, and / or build statistical models, leveraging data from multiple data sources to tell one coherent story, with a clear call to action for the business.

Our new structure and ways of working will see you extensively work cross functionally hence your collaboration skills will be top notch, coupled with the customer centric lens and approach you bring to work everyday.

Our wish list also includes :

  • Relevant degree in Research, Analytics, STEM, Data Science, Retail, Marketing, or Digital
  • Expertise in research and / or analytics methodologies
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Proven experience in running ad hoc and continuous qualitative and quantitative research with stakeholder groups would be a bonus
  • Inquisitive and curious nature
  • Highly resilient and adaptable
