What you’ll do with your time

Our Information Services Group (ISG) works hard to support our West Coast Health System by providing digital solutions that enable improved health outcomes.

West Coast DHB is transitioning to a new video conferencing platform which will be used across the West Coast and link to clinical teams regionally and Nationally.

We will also be using this platform within our brand-new hospital, Te Nikau Hospital and Health Centre. We have a number of other infrastructure and application projects which we need a skilled individual to manage.

In this role you will be responsible for :

Manage the operations you are responsible for to ensure high quality, consistent and effective service

Management of projects and programmes as allocated via the Chief Information Officer

Advance and promote sound Project Management principles at all times.

Maintain a High Level Liaison with Senior Management.

We are looking for someone with the following traits

Achieved or working towards a professional Project Management certification such as PMP, PRiNCE2

Display self-knowledge

Sound problem solving skills

Have highly developed interpersonal, leadership, communication and negotiating skills

Planning, prioritisation and organisation skills

Experience with project management life cycle and tools.
