Women's rugby is currently going through an exciting growth phase in Wellington and Wellington Rugby is now seeking applications for the position of Women's Rugby Development Officer.
To leverage off the growth experienced to date, this role needs someone who is prepared to roll their sleeves up, get out into the community and take female participation in rugby to the next level.
The Women's RDO will be focussed on growing and developing female players, coaches and volunteers, with attention on building participation in schools and supporting club recruitment.
This will require the successful candidate to facilitate opportunities for females in all forms of the game including 15 a-
side and Sevens, as well as alternative formats such as Rippa Rugby, Quick Rip and Tens.
If you have a can-do attitude, are highly motivated with energy to burn, then this could be the job for you. If you are equally comfortable in the playground as well as with Heads of Sport, then we want to talk to you.
