We are looking for a NZregistered midwife with loads of passion andcommitment to join our Motueka maternity team on a permanent 0.
6FTE basis, working 48 hours afortnight. This equates to 4 x 12 hour shifts. There will be the optionto pick up extra shifts from time to time.
The Motueka Maternity unit is aprimary birthing and postnatal care unit with around 30-40 births a year andaround 140 postnatal transfers from Nelson.
The unit delivers a highly regardedpostnatal care model working in partnership with LMC’s and whānau to provide whānaucentred care.

You will be a high performing midwife with a total commitment to womencentred and culturally respectful care. You will have excellent time managementand organisational skills.
You will havethe skills and experience to staff the unit on your own as well as the abilityto work as part of a team and contribute to the broader organisational healthcare objectives.
