Treasury Analyst

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (New Zealand) Auckland, North Island

Reports to : Head of Treasury Department

Location : Auckland CBD

Key Responsibilities, includes but not limited to

1. Assistance in market, liquidity and balance sheet analysis.

2. Assistance in ALCO (Asset and Liability Committee) reporting and minutes taking.

3. Support cash flow forecast activities.

4. Support trading for both banking book and customer orders including foreign exchange, money market, interest rate derivatives, bond investment and deposits, etc.

5. Support debt issuance activities.

6. Complete regularly required and ad hoc deliverables, including broader treasury activities.

7. Adhere to the bank’s policies and procedures at all times.

8. Other tasks assigned by the department or the bank.

Qualifications and Requirements :

1. Finance / Economics degree preferred.

2. Knowledge of financial markets.

3. Automation strong EXCEL / VBA / SQL / Python skills preferred.

4. Ability to multi-task and manage priorities in a demanding and deadline-oriented environment.

5. Time management skills.

6. Must be well-organized, innovative, a self-starter and a team player with a high level of initiative.

7. Strong written and oral communication skills.
