Description

We are seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our Front Office team in Queenstown. Front Office duties encompass aspects of the Front Desk, Reservations and switchboard operations.

Our unique location offers our guests two hotels from the Hilton brand to choose from : Hilton Queenstown Resort & Spa and DoubleTree by Hilton Queenstown and all of our Team Members get to work across both brands.

WHAT WILL I BE DOING?

In your new role as Guest Service Agent you will ensure brand service standards are met to the highest quality to ensure Guest expectations are exceeded.

You will enjoy working as part of a team on a rotating roster, in a fast-paced environment. More specifically you will :

  • Provide a warm and welcoming check in / out experience for every guest, every time
  • Manage guest queries and feedback in a genuine and professional manner
  • Use your influencing skills to upsell products and services to maximize sales revenue
  • Be responsible for the accurate recording and processing of reservations
  • Use your multi-tasking and organisational skills to manage, track and follow up all calls
  • Inform our guests of all the activities Queenstown and the surrounding region has to offer
  • Requirements

    WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

    The ideal candidate will have a passion for delivering an exceptional guest experience. To be successful in this application, you must hold the following skills, experience and behaviours :

  • Minimum 1 year experience in similar role within a 5 star property
  • Previous experience using property management system ONQ an asset
  • A passion for contributing to and enhancing guest experiences
  • Intermediate computer proficiency
  • Well-presented, organised and calm personality
  • Dedication and commitment to hospitality
  • Fluent English essential, additional languages an advantage
