MRI Technologist : UnitCharge

Radiology - Timaru Hospital, SCDHB

PermanentFull-time, 8 hours per day, Monday to Friday

Life is a collection of small moments : meaningful moments, challenging moments, moments to remember. At SCDHB, we want to support our people to enjoy more of the moments that matter. Are you ready to join us?>

Right now, we-re looking for the right MRI Technologist as Unit Charge to join our small, tight-knit Radiology Team. This is a great opportunity for any Technologist looking to enhance their MRI experience in an environment that provides comprehensive diagnostic radiology services.

Our MRI Service operates without an on-call or weekend roster so undoubtedly this will be an attractive proposition for an existing Unit Charge or experienced MRI technologist to consider.

Our team provides a comprehensive diagnostic radiology service including general radiography, MRI, CT and Ultrasound. Our ideal candidate will already be registered with the NZMRT Board and hold a current APC (but for the right person we may well consider an overseas applicant).

In addition to your positive attitude and great sense of humour, in joining our team you will bring :

  • sound knowledge of Magnetic Resonance Imaging
  • great communication skills combined with an empathetic nature
  • excellent planning and problem-solving approaches
  • a passion for delivering patient focused high-quality healthcare
  • Why choose South Canterbury DHB?

As one of the country-s smaller DHBs our people always have room to move and grow - you-ll get a wider exposure to specialties and enjoy the benefits of a flat structure : processes that run smoothly and a fun, friendly culture.

With us, you-re more than just a number; you-re part of a team where everyone knows your name.

On top of all that, you-ll get to enjoy the fantastic Timaru lifestyle : between the beach and the mountains, work-life balance is truly achievable here.

At SCDHB, integrity, collaboration, accountability, respect and excellence are at the heart of everything we do. We are a proudly diverse team, as we know a diverse and inclusive workforce achieves the best outcomes for our patients and communities.

If you share in these core values and bring them into every aspect of your patient care, we can-t wait for you to join us.
