We have fantastic opening for Finance Business Manager to join our Finance Team. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced leader to provide effective direction and sound commercial advice to our team of business partners as they support senior decision makers at AT.

About the roleThe key purpose of this position is to provide financial leadership and direction to a team of business partners to enable them to deliver sound commercial and financial advice to senior decision makers supporting appropriate allocation of resources, understanding of performance, risks and opportunities and identification of mitigants and actions to deliver agreed outcomes.

This role will be a thought leader ensuring that commercially insightful financial governance and advice, and critical financial information is available, understood and utilised for decision-

making, financial stewardship, measurement and achievement of AT and functional business plans.The Finance Business Manager will liaise with the broader financial community across AT and third parties to ensure the organisation exceeds customer expectations with value adding services, consistently looks to evolve with best practice and meets financial and regulatory obligations.

About youAs our successful Finance Business Manager, you have the perfect blend of Leadership, Finance / Accounting skills.

Ideally, you will have minimum 8-10 years' experience in managing a time of Finance professionals in a political or highly complex organization.

A relevant tertiary qualification in Finance, Economics, Accounting or similarChartered membership of a professionally recognised accountancy bodyStrong customer focusAbility to achieve outcomes, delegate effectively and empower others to use all resources to achieve the best outcomesExcellent business acumen and demonstrated ability in identifying the key external and internal drivers of business successTrack record in fostering a performance-

oriented culture, both within the function and finance teamDemonstrates a disciplined approach to managing a significant budget.

Establishes and utilises effective systems and processes to monitor financial performance. Identifies risks early and takes action to mitigate potential or actual negative financial consequencesExperience with report writing and ad hoc enquiry from ERP systems (preferably SAP)Due to the variety of stakeholders that you will interact with, it is essential that you have outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

You will also be equipped with an incredible eye for detail and a natural ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
