    We have an exciting opportunity for a Funding Relationship Manager to provide leadership and management of critical Maaori initiatives within the service at Counties Manukau Health.

    The primary purpose of this position is the development and implementation of key Maaori health strategies, actions and interventions that will support Counties Manukau Health to achieve and / or accelerate Maaori health gains and outcomes, particularly in key Maaori health priority areas for our district.

  • We are seeking an analytical and motivated individual who has a tertiary qualification at Bachelor level and at least 5 years experience within the health sector funding or service delivery area, plus experience in writing plans and reports, within the Maaori Health development space.
  • You will need to have a minimum understanding of Te Reo me ona Tikanga, excellent relationship management skills, be a strategic thinker and possess advanced interpersonal verbal, literacy and communication skills.
  • You will have proven organisational and time management skills, knowledge of the NZ health, disability and related sectors, including Maaori health, extensive knowledge of international best practice and the directions & policies set by the Ministry of Health and the ability to manage multiple complex tasks and prioritise accordingly.
