We have two permanent positions, one full-time and one part-time (20 hours), in our Let’s Go Team as Advisors for our Let’s Go Programme in the New Plymouth District.
As a Let’s Go Programme Advisor, you will be delivering and promoting active transport and behaviour change initiatives with the goal to increase active mode share in New Plymouth.
This is a varied, challenging and interesting job, working with a highly motivated and passionate team. The full time role will have a focus on working alongside Primary and High Schools and the part-time role has a focus with workplaces and community .
You will be working on existing Let’s Go initiatives, but have the opportunity to develop and implement new initiatives that contribute towards the overall goal of the Let’s Go programme.
You will enjoy working with and delivering to diverse groups of people, with great communication skills, highly developed relationship management expertise and a passion for active and sustainable travel.
Ideally you will come to us with a tertiary qualification in either transport planning, social science, social psychology, social marketing, communications, road safety and / or had relevant experience in these.
As you will be working mainly with schools and / or workplaces, flexibility is required in terms of hours of work to best meet the needs of these communities.
