About FBNZ Consumer Export
The purpose of the Consumer Export team is to delight our customers and consumers with the very best of New Zealand dairy .
The Consumer Export business has three divisions (the Pacific OPCO, China CBEC, Inter-company ex FBNZ) and is responsible for driving the Premium Export strategic platform (this includes primary ownership of three pillars specialty cheese, Premium UHT and Fresh Export and the opportunity to work with several other global teams and our OpCo’s to drive the growth of consumer chilled dairy and organics).
About the opportunity
Reporting into our Head of Sales, FBNZ Consumer Export, we have an exciting senior role available for our new Consumer Export Sales Manager (Global Accounts).
The focus of this role is to seed, manage and grow new and existing Partnerships with International Retail Customers, working alongside our Consumer Operating Companies (OpCo’s) to ensure we deliver a coordinated, consistent, world class customer experience.
Growing our relationship with International Retail Customers, to create a sales pipeline for our premium consumer products underpins the Premium Export and Inter-Company workstreams.

About you
Preferably coming from a frontline Sales background, you’ll have extensive experience within a Global business and be entirely comfortable in front of the customer.
You’ll have a natural ability to engage with, and gain the respect of senior leaders and stakeholders, with a strong focus on creating value for both customer and Fonterra.
With prior experience negotiating major, multi region and multi-year contracts, you’ll be able to develop and implement customer account strategies and deliver on objectives and financial targets as well as operating within a CRM platform.
With key influencing skills, you’ll have an innate ability to deliver on detailed executional tasks to a high level of accuracy, managing time pressure and complex / ambiguous situations.
Utilising your strong knowledge of Global dairy markets, you’ll be able to bring and build strong relationships.
