SALESFull-timeKey Account Manager - Alternative ChannelsAucklandNew ZealandAs our Key Account Manager - Alternative Channels you will be identifying and securing new business, whilst developing plans to enhance growth across an existing customer base.

You will lead the development and execution of Red Bull New Zealand’s national new business strategy, with a particular focus on winning new outlets for Red Bull, growing distribution and share within existing outlets, and ensuring the Red Bull brand is activated with excellence across your customer portfolio.

WIN NEW LISTINGS FOR RED BULL IN NEW CUSTOMERS AND NEW CHANNELSIn this role you will identify new customers / channels with the aim to secure distribution of Red Bull productsResponsible for negotiating new listings, pricing, merchandising and promotional activityWin visibility, extend reach, and ensure executional excellence of the Red Bull brandDevelop strong relationships with key stakeholders within your new business network, to grow Red Bull presence in this channelMANAGE EXISTING CUSTOMERS FOR GROWTHManage existing relationships with customers in our alternate channelsEnhance product assortment, set a clear pricing and promotional strategy, and optimise trade spend to ensure volume and profit targets are achievedIdentify key opportunities and occasions to promote the Red Bull brand and increase visibility within key outletsP&L MANAGEMENTBuild an annual business plan (for each key customer) to deliver on agreed KPI’s through the effective management of available investments.

  • Deliver business plan volume and value metrics across directly managed accountsBalance short-term and long-term strategic investments to aid market share growthScenario plan ad-hoc opportunities that arise, to understand ROI and impact to business planACCURATE & COMPREHENSIVE TRADE SPEND MANAGEMENT AND FORECASTINGEnsure compliance to the trade spend management processUtilise planning skills to deliver a robust rolling forecast, and proactively manage changes with operations team to ensure sufficient stock coverEXPERIENCEYour areas of knowledge and expertisethat matter most for this role : Outstanding sales experience, ideally including securing new business, and a track record in account managementMinimum 2 years’ account management experienceExceptional negotiation skills, with experiences in seeking win-win;
  • situationsStrong customer relationship management skillsExceptional communication and presentation skills.Strong planning and project management skills.

    Strong financial and analytical abilityIntermediate / Advanced level MS PowerPoint and excel skills.NZ Full Driver’s License.

    Current New Zealand border restrictions and Immigration visa application priorities mean that we are only able to consider candidates who are residing in NZ with the appropriate visa to work permanently in NZ, or might be based elsewhere but already have NZ Citizen or NZ Perm Residency status.
