    About the role

    Reporting to the Finance Manager, Planning & Analysis and based out of our modern offices in the Auckland CBD we're looking for a Management Accountant who can leverage their passion for analytics to communicate meaningful commercial insights to our Nationwide network of Practices.

    Your work will require initiative, attention to detail - and a passion for problem solving and process improvement.

    Your key areas of focus will be :

  • Partnering with the National Operations Manager and our team of Regional Managers to provide regular commercial insight & analysis.
  • Ownership of existing practice and clinician dashboard reporting in Power BI - working closely with others in the team to develop, refine and implement reporting improvements.
  • Leading the quarterly target process to help set practice & clinician revenue targets across our NZ-wide practice network of 450+ clinicians.
  • Preparing and presenting calculations and analysis required for practice bonus payments and training allowances.
  • Providing support for the quarterly forecasting process.
  • Ad hoc project work - with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • About you

    To step into this role, you will ideally have the following skills and experience :

  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in a similar role and a relevant degree qualification - CA / CPA qualified, or studying towards this would be ideal but not essential.
  • Experience working with large data sets - strong excel automation and modelling skills.
  • Experience working with Business Intelligence (BI) software - preferably Power BI.
  • Confident communication and interpersonal skills - with the ability to manage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Demonstrated budgeting and business planning expertise.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, to multi task and be flexible.
