Professional Services - Product Consultant - Audio Visual

Spark is looking for aSeniorAudio Visual (AV) Consultant to join a team of Collaboration Product Consultants providing professional AV solutions to our broad range of Corporate, Enterprise and Government customers.

You will be working in a high value Professional Services team atSpark as part of a relatively new capability which is only going to grow in line with global Collaboration trends.

We'll be looking to invest in you as you will be centre stage as part of this exciting new team.


You will be reporting to the Chapter Lead - Product Consultants within Professional Services


  • Pre-sales design and consultancy - Designs, Bill of Materials, Pricing, Demos, Presentations, Proposals and Scope of Works
  • As our customers' trusted advisor, you will be leading from initial conversation, through to designing the finished product, and providing ongoing support for our implementation teams.
  • Providing outstanding Professional AV and Meeting Room solutions for Corporate, Enterprise and Government customers
  • Providing our customers with the industry's most advanced technologies delivering audio-visual, digital signage, video conferencing, and collaborative working environments.

    We welcome expressions of interest from people able to work in Auckland or Wellington with the following attributes :

  • You will be a confident Audio-Visual Specialist with a proven track record of high-quality customer outcomes, showing an attention to detail.
  • You will have AV and Meeting Room design experience across a broad range of platforms, devices and customers.
  • You will be able to fully understand customer requirements, identify value add solutions and be able to exceed requirements and expectations where possible.
  • You will have excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability clearly articulate ideas and concepts, and effectively present these in writing and verbally.
  • Must have outstanding documentation standards and skills - from Designing a solution through to the technical mark ups sufficient to meet compliance and customer tenant approvals (e.
  • g. elevations, wiring schematics using CAD, Visio skills etc.)

  • Fundamental Network knowledge
  • Experience in Control systems design and programming
  • Experience in Professional Audio solutions (Microphone and Speaker Systems)
  • Preferably experienced with Fit out, electrical, cabling experience, and a proven track record of high-quality work, showing an attention to detail and safety.
  • Accreditations / Qualifications in Audio, Video, Networking and UC such as :

  • Cisco - VC
  • Microsoft Teams Meeting Rooms
  • Crestron
  • Data cabling and / or electrical
  • Health & Safety appreciation (e.g. SiteSafe)
  • A full New Zealand driver license is required.

    As we regularly work with NZ Government departments clearances will be required through NZ Police, Ministry of Justice and Department of Corrections.
