  • The Opportunity

    We are looking for a capable and experienced broker who will further advance Aon’s standing in the Cyber Risk space.

    This is a rapidly emerging market in the insurance industry and an integral part of Aon’s insurance product and risk solution offerings.

    You will be a credible and trusted source of advice for internal and external stakeholders, bringing your industry knowledge and experience to the field of insurance broking and risk management.

    As a broker reporting into the National Cyber Practice Leader, you will become a subject matter expert within this specialisation and there will be the opportunity to liaise with colleagues across the Aon Global network.

    Key responsibilities will include :

  • Becoming a technical resource to the business
  • Assisting key existing and prospective clients by providing insights and advice on structuring appropriate cyber programmes and solutions
  • Working with Aon’s Global Risk Consulting team to develop a range of consulting services that are tailored to meet the Cyber risk needs of our clients
  • Conducting presentations
  • Working with key parties to advance the development of Cyber issues
  • Assisting in tenders and sourcing new accounts
  • Working within the Aon NZ business to develop tailored risk transfer solutions.

    To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following :

  • Ideally prior broking or consulting experience within the Financial Lines / Professional Risks / Liability sector, preferably within the Cyber industry
  • Confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders and developing relationships
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the highest standard of presentation
  • Strong time management skills and proven experience working in a high-pressure professional environment
  • Strong work ethic and ability to work in team environment
  • Engaging and enthusiastic personal style.
