Taikura Trust is the regions single facilitator of needs assessment and service coordination for support services for people under 65 years who have a physical, intellectual, sensory impairment, or autism.
Above all, Taikura Trust is about bringing certainty to lives of the people we support and walking the journey with children and families to live the lives they choose.
You will be responsible for conducting support needs assessments in a collaborative and strength based approach. Exploring all options for supporting the needs of disabled children or adults and their families, coordinating access to support services both funded and unfunded and reviewing their care plans in place to ensure it is meeting their changing needs as they grow.
The outcome of these care plans should provide a support plan that enables choice, flex and control and meets the person's individual needs.
We are looking for graduates or current professionals who share our commitment to supporting disabled people to live the lives they choose to lead.
This is a great role for someone who has a passion for working with people and their families to support them on their journey.
You must be allowed to legally work in New Zealand. You must hold a valid, full NZ Driver Licence. Job offer will be subject to a satisfactory safety check in compliance with the Vulnerable Children Act 2014.
