HPE is currently recruiting for a highly energetic NZ Pointnext Services Sales Manager to be based in Auckland. The scope of this role is across the three different sales motions New Business, Attach, and Installed Base (Renewals) sales for Pointnext Services across NZ.
As NZ Pointnext Services Sales Manager You Will :
Build and develop Sales team to ultimately achieve and exceed Quota. Coach individuals through managing change, selling challenges while actively managing performance and results
Assist sales team with building and maintaining client relationships, negotiating and closing deals. Coaching team on creative approaches to help them close new business deals
Develop and implement sales territory plans and forecasts to achieve Order objectives and new pipeline goals
Build clear strategies for working with key accounts to pursue and close major opportunities
Establish professional relationships and credibility with key customer IT and business executives
Manage and ensure consistency in sales hygiene across the team around call plans, SFDC updates, close plans, etc
Prepare for client calls / meetings in partnership with Sales Specialists and support the efforts of the team during client meetings
Accurately compile and communicate sales forecasts and progress against forecasts
Maximise revenue by critically assessing deal viability, participating directly in complex sales negotiations and resolve any issues to ensure customer satisfaction
Understand industry drivers and the customer base better to bridge Pointnext solutions with account-relevant problems and opportunities
About You :
Proven people management experience in sales with a track record of building / managing sales teams to achieve quotas and sales goals
Significant experience of successful consumption services, advisory / consulting IT services sales and / or business development within a professional services environment
Ability to create and execute a Sales Strategy for pipeline and Orders growth
Skilled at building rapport, opening doors, and understanding business requirements of senior decision makers
High energy with excellent presentation and written and verbal communication skills
Highly developed business acumen and negotiation skills
Ability to work effectively with extended and cross-function teams in a matrix environment
Financial acumen to manage budgets and make good business decisions for the benefit of HPE
