As a Senior Functional Consultant within our Business Applications team you’ll take ownership for the implementation, configuration, and delivery of Dynamics D365 BC projects (and Dynamics NAV where relevant) and ongoing support for our outstanding business solutions.

Work will be split between Delivery and Support. You'll be involved in pre-sales when required as well as Response For Proposals (RFP) responses and building those customer relationships from the get-go.

You'll work in partnership with our clients, advising them how to use Business Applications to meet their business objectives within agreed timelines.

  • Take ownership of consultancy, configuration engagements and solution delivery (incl. Scope of engagement and Project Plan definition), working with peers (Consultants, Developers from both Service and Operations focus points), Project Managers / Project Coordinators, Solution Specialists, National D365 BC Practice Lead and Business Applications Practice Manager, as well as with clients to ensure successful delivery and on-going support as needed.
  • Work on the projects in New Zealand, Australia and United States and aim to broaden the geographical footprint of Intergen’s yellowness .

  • Undertake client consultancy and product configuration in line with business requirements and form Functional Requirements and / or Functional Design / Functional Specification, as required.
  • Provide guidance and clarifications to more junior members of the team and to the developers. Participate in developing solution prototypes to prove solution approach and design.
  • Analyse available in the AppSource options for streamlined delivery of Vertical- and Horizontal Solutions for D365 BC.
  • Respond to the Cases raised by Clients (as Incidents or Requests) or internal Team in the defined timeframe (and with focused efforts initial analysis and response 30min.
  • follow-up with estimates in collaboration with developers - further 1.5 Hrs.), update Support Cases frequently and aim for quick resolutions.

  • Provide quality assurance (incl. health-check, diagnostics and estimates review) across solutions and client engagements as a value-add to the quality of solutions and deliverables.
  • Work in partnership with clients, advising them how to use information technology thus enabling them to meet their business objectives (based on benefits analysis), overcome problems, and gain an understanding of high-level technical concepts (incl.
  • ERP and integration points with external systems).

  • Help more junior Team members in Cases resolutions and project work.
  • Adhere to efficient time management, avoid a growing backlog of Cases and tasks.
  • The Person

    You will be passionate, reliable, disciplined, stress-resistant, result-oriented, highly motivated, striving to achieve above and beyond, and client focused team-member.

    You need to prove that you have deep knowledge of D365 BC or previous versions of NAV (preferable Microsoft certifications), and have a good business understanding (and experience) of advanced inventory & logistics (supply chain management) and advanced warehouse management.

    Good knowledge of financial modules and consolidation is a must; advanced manufacturing is a bonus.

  • Great experience in collaboration with the Team of top experts in D365 BC in New Zealand.
  • Extensive commercial experience in installation, configuration and delivery of Dynamics D365 BC solutions (standard, customised with Extensions, and integrated), along with some experience or desire to drive value with the Power Platform (incl.
  • Power Apps, Logic Apps, PowerBI);
  • Experience from presales to final delivery; ensuring that each element of solution is properly scoped, designed, implemented and functionally tested to meet our client's business needs.
  • Confidence working directly with clients (remotely or on-site), and aptitude for gaining a thorough understanding of their vision will be huge strengths.
  • A hunger for knowledge with the passion to learn about the latest innovations in the industry (and multiple industries representing Clients’ breadth), which you will enjoy sharing with the wider team.
