Job Description

You’ll make a difference by understanding business and employee needs keeping abreast of industry trends and delivering technology products and services, and user experiences that align with the needs of our people.

While your technical awareness in End User Technologies is important, your strong business and commercial acumen, and inspirational people leadership, will set you apart.

This position will lead a team of engineers, solution designers and analysts and will report to the Product Manager, Virtualisation + EUT Shared Services.

  • Your team will provide a shared services capability to drive operational excellence and consistency for all of End User Technology ; this will include;
  • Solution design;
  • Desktop and mobile application packaging and distribution services;
  • Digital Experience Monitoring;
  • Queue management; and
  • Process optimisation
  • Your shared services function will support End User Technology at IAG including;
  • Windows and Mac evergreen managed operating environments;
  • Hardware support and maintenance;
  • Mobile device management;
  • Mobile telephones, tablets and associated accessories;
  • Mobile carriage services; and
  • Managed print services
  • Key Responsibilities

  • Team management of the shared services squad (approx 10) including coaching and development;
  • Business and stakeholder engagement, building effective working relationships across teams and partners;
  • Product operations including leadership of high priority incidents and problems;
  • Use of MIS and experience monitoring tools along with qualitative data sources to identify areas of improvement including proactive support and automated healing;
  • Use of human centred design and Lean principles to design and optimise process;
  • Development and execution of strategies to deliver continual service improvement;
  • Effective management of cyber risk and evergreen operations;
  • Design and documentation of EUT systems and support processes; and
  • Establishment of business cases to support change and delivery of the same.
  • Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years in technology business or product management
  • Experience managing a $A20m+ per annum P&L for a product or business unit
  • Technical expertise, either an engineering degree or equivalent, or 10+ years in engineering management
  • 5+ years’ experience as a team manager or project manager
  • Proven experience in consultancy, facilitation or negotiation leadership
  • $A20m+ commercial negotiation and contract management
  • Root cause analysis and process optimisation
