Marketing & Operations Manager

We are Vetty a 100% family-owned New Zealand pet healthcare business. It is our mission to enable pet parents to easily take care of their pets.

We have the opportunity for an enthusiastic self-starter to come on board in a varied role. We are looking for someone who is proactive in implementing a wide variety of integrated campaigns.

This is a part-time position with the potential to transfer to a permanent role.

This role is based in Papamoa, Bay of Plenty.

What are we looking for?

You’ll work directly with our Managing Director and senior staff to

Manage our overall marketing strategy in collaboration with our Managing Director

Create content marketing strategies that are compelling, valuable and enticing for our target market

Write and develop copy for our EDM campaigns, blogs, social media posts, newsletters and other client and internal communications.

Manage our CRM and all of our marketing channels including our website and social media platforms.

Identify & test new marketing initiatives

Identify opportunities to improve our marketing strategy, marketing activity and as a business overall.

Pack & Dispatch daily orders.

Manage Warehouse Inventory

The must-haves

This is an important role within our business and successful execution will be key in us reaching our goals for growth over the coming years. Because of this, you must

Have some form of tertiary level education in Marketing, or an extensive track record working in Marketing

Have at least 4 years real-world" experience working in Marketing with at least 2 of those being at a senior level

Be able to share and showcase the results you have achieved in your previous work

Have a strong work ethic, sense of responsibility, initiative and confidence to deliver

Be results-oriented, pragmatic and have a can do attitude

Be confident working with digital marketing channels

Have worked in the B2B or B2C marketing space and, though it’s not a must, prior experience working in the digital, marketing, advertising or technology industry would be ideal.
