    We are looking for a Clinical Team Leader for our Infant Child and Adolescent service (Te Whare o Te Rito). Our team has a strong cultural emphasis that underpins all we that we do.

    Hauora Tairawhiti is building an environment where patient safety and quality care is at the forefront of all the decisions that we make.

    You will be motivated to contribute to service developments and quality improvement projects along with undertaking your clinical duties.

    The positions exists to

  • Provide leadership and direct line management of staff within Te Whare o Te Rito
  • To ensure systems and processes are in place that support positive outcomes for whanau accessing Te Whare o Te Rito.
  • Ensuring that Key Results Areas identified locally regionally and nationally are achieved
  • To work collaboratively with the Head Of Department, other managers, leaders within Te Ara Maioha and the wider Organisation.
  • Recognise the impacts of colonisation and institutional racism and challenge these when identified
  • Actively contributes to addressing the disparities of health
  • Demonstrates and role models active learning
  • Uses outcome measures, feedback and data to inform practice
  • Clinically works directly with whanau utilising Feedback Informed Treatment as an outcome measure
  • Set apart by the most temperate climate and beautiful natural surroundings of the North Island East Coast of New Zealand, its little wonder that Hauora Tairawhiti is the work destination of choice for many mental health professionals.

    Gisborne is situated on the East Coast of the North Island. The region has a population of approximately 46,000 and is well known for its relaxed lifestyle and its beautiful rural and beach environments.
