Christchurch Emergency Department (ED) is thelargest ED in the South Island seeing more than 101,000 patients per year andcovers a population catchment area of 500,000.
We are part of a dynamicmultidisciplinary team in the Emergency Department at Christchurch Hospital.
The Ed Administration roster is 24 hours, 7 daysper week. It is critical applicants are able and willing to work the full rangeof day, night and weekend shifts.
This is a busy and demanding role, being theinitial point of contact for patients arriving at the Emergency Department andensuring patient management systems are accurately updated and processescarried out in a timely manner.
You will have good keyboard / computer skills, anability to communicate effectively, have cultural awareness and be able todemonstrate an ability to work and contribute within a team environment.
Asound administration background is essential. Knowledge of patientmanagement systems would be advantageous.
