    We are looking for a senior NZ / AU CBEC CustomerMarketing Manager to join our Auckland team; someone that lives and breathese-commerce.

  • Reporting to the NZ / AU CBEC Business Manager, you will lead the developmentand execution of Vitaco’s NZ / AU CBEC customer marketing strategy;
  • targeting CBEC Chineseconsumers via trade and consumer marketing. This role includes management andimplementation of customer marketing plans, including price strategy andmanagement;
  • creation of customer marketing collateral; product / category / pricing / dataanalysis; and development of new products.

    The challenge includes :

  • Development of trade and consumer marketing initiatives including social media, advertising and marketing promotions for the NZ / AU CBEC Channel
  • Development and execution of category, pricing and product strategy for NZ / AU CBEC Channel
  • Identifying and leveraging market trend and consumer needs to champion NZ / AU CBEC new product development (from ideation to product launch)
  • Adaptation, translation and creation of engaging customer marketing collateral and documentation for NZ / AU CBEC Channel
  • Conducting customer product training and trade shows
  • Application of data, insights and analysis to further develop strategy, marketing and product execution
  • Engagement and management of third-party providers / customers in planning and implementing NZ / AU customer marketing plans
  • Managing the marketing budget
  • What we are hoping you bring to the role :

  • 5+ years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within a related category. You’ve worked on e-commerce, building an e-commerce business / brands;
  • ideally working with cross-functional, trans-Tasman and global teams

  • You have solid trade, brand, digital and consumer marketing experience, strong commercial acumen, and a relevant Tertiary qualification
  • Experience in FMCG would be a real advantage as you need to work well under pressure; and marketing in healthcare would be considered very favourably
  • You have a track record of relationship building, of establishing trust and influencing internal and external business partners
  • It goes without saying that you are a digital specialist; with advanced computer literacy and high engagement with social media;
  • but we are especially looking for experience and knowledge of social media and e-commerce platforms in China

  • Likewise we are looking for particular cultural skills; you can communicate in simplified Chinese / Mandarin; have English language fluency (written and oral);
  • have a good understanding of the NZ / AU CBEC market and Chinese consumer behaviours. Ideally you will have lived some time in China.

  • Your technical qualities include good verbal, written communication and presentation skills; ability to analyse complex information;
  • and experience with Nielsen, Aztec or any other data providers will be considered an advantage

  • NPD experience will be considered an advantage.
