The New Zealand Security Intelligence Service is looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Director Protective Security.
The Protective Security Directorate has responsibility for the delivery of a customer-centric vetting service while also driving transformational change processes and best practice in operational, physical and IT security across government.
The role encompasses the full range of executive assistant functions and to be considered for this position you will have substantial experience in the following major functions or objectives :
Key to succeeding in this role will be your professional and positive approach, along with your ability to work on a wide variety of tasks and efficiently manage workloads.
You will also need to be comfortable dealing with ambiguity in a changing or high pressured environment.
A strong executive administration and coordination background is essential, along with well developed communication skills.
You will be a self-starter with a can do attitude, highly effective organisational and communication skills, a strong customer focus with excellent judgement and decision making skills, and high personal integrity.

Salary from $58,500 - $87,750 per annum

To be eligible for employment within the NZIC you must have been a NZ citizen for at least 10 years. Alternatively you must hold NZ Permanent Residence or hold a current NZ Residency Class Visa and have been a citizen of UK, USA, Canada or Australia for at least 10 years.
You must be able to obtain and maintain a high level security clearance. Ordinarily to obtain this level of clearance candidates must have a 15 year checkable background in countries where meaningful and reliable checks can be undertaken.
