The Opportunity :
We are looking for a Portfolio Manager to come into AIA and support the Chief Strategy Officer and Head of Strategy in prioritising the portfolio of project work and strategic initiatives across AIA NZ.
You will ensure good governance is followed by the business and provide reporting to the AIA NZ Executive Committee and wider business on the portfolio of projects.
About the Role :
You will work collaboratively across the organization, to help identify and define the strategic portfolio for the organisation each year, raising any issues and integrating diverse stakeholder interests to inform the development and prioritisation of project initiatives while proactively understanding and mitigating risks.
You will lead the execution of the project governance, reporting and review framework to provide a holistic view of all organisational project activity.
You will take ownership of the financial forecasting process for the portfolio as a whole.
About you :
Experience in a portfolio governance position including working in enterprise PMO (EPMO) environments.
Working as PMO Manger or PMO Analyst for 5+ years at a corporate level.
Tertiary Qualification in Commerce or relevant field.
Finance background / certification.
Experience developing, implementing and measuring portfolio performance that contributes to Corporate Strategy
Conceptual and strategic thinking ability
Experience influencing at the Executive and Senior Management level
Background in Finance, Insurance or consulting preferred
Strong communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams and to effect positive cultural change.
Strong coach and mentor; able to understand individual motivators and key drivers of success.
Strong relationship management skills to engage stakeholders to understand and influence business objective(s).
