This team currently provides community based services and early supported discharge for adult patients that have sustained a stroke.
We currently have a full time position available for a Section Head of our Community Based Rehabilitation Team which is part of the Adult Rehabilitation and Health of Older People division at Counties Manukau Health.
As the Section Head, you will be the lead driver of the team to ensure that service expectations and deliverables are met.
You will work alongside the senior allied health / medical staff to facilitate the best treatment models and goals are delivered and achieved.
You will be part of a team that takes an inter-disciplinary approach to providing care from the inpatient setting into the community.
In order to be eligible for this role, you would need to hold Registration and an Annual Practising Certificate in your profession, unless you are a Speech Language Therapist.
This role will be very well suited to an Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, Registered Nurse, Dietitian or Speech Language Therapist.
