About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for an intrepid, energetic and commercially savvy Nurse Manager to lead our care facility, coordinating clinical activities and providing leadership to our team of Registered Nurses and Care staff.
As an integral part of the village management team, you will be one of the first points of contact for residents and staff alike, building and maintaining positive, consultative relationships.
This role focuses on ensuring high quality service delivery, so it is essential that industry compliance and high standards of clinical practice are maintained at all times and that the consistency of care meets our residents'and their families' expectations.
Skills & experience required
To win this role, you need to be a Registered Nurse with a current practising certificate, have aged care experience and at least two years'experience in clinical leadership and staff management.
You will possess a strong understanding of gerontological and clinical best practice and have experience working with and managing budgets and financial accountabilities.
You will be passionate about aged care and able to form long-term relationships with residents by using your well-honed listening skills, pragmatism, service-
committed attitude and patience. Your competencies will include staff leadership and training, which will assist you to motivate, support and lead our dedicated team of staff.
You will also have strong organisational and planning skills and be confident and capable with a computer - with a minimum of intermediate level skill in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
