Within this dedicated squad, we have a requirement for a UX Designer to lead the design of email communications to our customers using SFMC and to connect the experience end-to-end across channels .

Could this be you?Initially supporting this specific squad but ultimately part of our wider UX Chapter, we are looking for an enthusiastic, curious individual-happy to apply their broad experience across UX design to contribute to the success of the overall Countdown digital experience strategy.

Your key responsibilities will see you : Work within a cross-functional product team to design user experiences and features that lead to customer and team success and delight.

Maintain a passionate focus on the customer, their context and needs across the design process.Design digital experiences and journeys from discovery through concept to production ready UX, creating UX artefacts such as wireframes, customer journey maps, user flows, sketches and interactive prototypesFacilitate discussions around customer and business value within the product team and with wider stakeholders, and run co-design sessions to define compelling solutions and identify ways to deliver value incrementally.

Leverage analytics tools and methods to derive insights and inform designs.Design and run user research, usability studies and co-design sessions to uncover customer and business needs, and to test and refine concepts and designs.

Develop the visual and interaction elements of the user experience in accordance with the cross-platform digital experience style guide and experience principles, to ensure a consistent experience across our touchpoints.

Keep long term projects moving while turning over the day to day quick winsSupport continuous improvement of the customer centric design process to drive improved customer experience, engagement and salesWith the goal of achieving a single, seamless service across all of our touchpoints, you will needAn extraordinary portfolio demonstrating previous work across the end-to-end of the UX design process (from concept to in life optimisation)Demonstrable experience in defining, designing and conducting research face to face (e.

g. contextual enquiries, user interviews, moderated usability testing, surveys, etc.) to drive and refine the experience designExperienced in email design and Salesforce Marketing Cloud is a big bonus as is experience in retail ecommerce design and delivering multi-channel personalisation of customer experiencesProficient in analytics tools to derive customer insight to inform designSolid experience in facilitating design workshops with multi-disciplinary teamsAbility to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedbackDemonstrable skills in communicating ideas and concepts in different degrees of fidelity (e.

g. sketches, paper prototypes, static wireframes, interactive prototypes, user journey maps) according to the project needsExcellent skills in UX design tools (Axure, Sketch InVision, Photoshop, Illustrator etc)Strong analytical and creative thinking skills : adept in simplifying problems into parts, identifying key data needed to support your decisions, and seeing a range of potential solutionsExcellent written, verbal and visual communication skills and attention to detailThere has never been a better time to join the tribe at CountdownX and the largest retailer in Australasia.
