The position :

IQVIA currently has a great opportunity for a Senior Software Engineer to be part of the Global Development team based in our Auckland Office.

This position is a unique opportunity to leverage your skills and to build in-depth knowledge of Sales Force Effectiveness / Automation.

You will support delivery of Solutions to support the global product base, by providing high quality and timely input to the projects.

In addition to the above, your responsibilities will include :

  • Ensure efficient and effective end to end project delivery to meet the product goals and objectives.
  • Work in a scrum based agile environment. Collaborating with product owners, testers, and other development teams.
  • Application design, software development, with majority of time spent doing hands-on development, troubleshooting and performance tuning etc.
  • The successful candidate will have :

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant discipline; with at least five years experience
  • Experienced in C# / .Net
  • Understanding of Databases, preferably with a working knowledge of SQL.
  • Capable of taking charge of emergent tasks and delivering without supervision while using their discretion to seek help when necessary, Patient, organized, detail-oriented.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Team-oriented thinking with demonstrated ability to produce high-quality work as part of a fast-paced, dynamic team.
  • An understanding of CI / CD is advantageous.
  • Experience in working with AWS and / or other cloud technologies is highly desirable
